Played in all 18 games of the 2006 season including the Western Semi-Final. Ellis helped the Stampeder offense to a league-leading 2,407 total rushing yards. His protection was also crucial for the success of Quarterback Henry Burris and the passing attack.
Played in 16 regular season games and the Western Semi-Final…played various positions on the offensive line including center when offensive lineman Jamie Crysdale’s iron man streak came to an end…Ellis proved that he was a very versatile lineman playing various positions and going head to head against some of the CFL’s best.
Ellis was a starter for his last three seasons … his university career began as a defensive tackle … named as the Axemen’s Most Improved Player and Lineman of the Year in his second year (2002) … came to Acadia University with no formal background in football from his native home of Nassau, Bahamas.
